Jessica Soho, Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes win big at this year's RAWR Awards
Jessica Soho, Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes, and other Kapuso stars waved the flag of GMA Network in this year's RAWR Awards, held last November 14 at The Core in Quezon City.
Alden Richards brought home the Actor of the Year Award together with the Earthy Energy special Award. The Asia's Multimedia Star was chosen because of his back-to-back projects within and outside the network.
For three consecutive years, GMA News Anchor Jessica Soho was awarded Female News Personality of the Year.
Other winners include Magkaagaw star Lovely Abella for Beshie of the Year for her role in the movie “Hello Love, Goodbye,” Maine Mendoza brought home the Pak Na Pak Na Comedian Award, while Ellia Ilano won the Bibo Award for the movie “Ulan.”
One of The Baes stars Rita Daniela and Ken Chan were also recognized by the award-giving body. The two brought home the Awesome and Ambient Award for their tandem that was born in the GMA Afternoon Prime hit My Special Tatay.
Lastly, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes also triumphed during the awards night. He took home the Magnum Man for his skills as a dancer, actor, host, and a thoughtful leader.
Now in its fifth year, the RAWR Awards is an award-giving body that honors the best and the brightest in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Winners of each award came from the combined total votes of Fans-and-Readers (33%), Blogging community and Industry leaders (33%) and from third-party analytics (33%).
