EXCLUSIVE: Hannah Precillas on interpreting 'Love Shines'
Hannah Precillas lent her vocal prowess in the performance of “Love Shines,” the song featured in GMA's Christmas station ID for 2019. In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, she also interpreted the personal message of the song.
Hannah was among the talented Kapuso artists who sang “Love Shines.”
“Always happy na every year nakakakanta ako, nabibigyan ako ng chance na makasama sa ating station ID. I always feel blessed,” she claimed.
For Hannah, the best meaning of “Love Shines” is when she can relate it to her family.
She said, “The message of the song is about giving love. Siyempre sa Pasko hindi 'yun mawawala, 'yun 'yung kumbaga concept ng Pasko. Kahit naman siguro hindi Pasko, kailangan natin gawin 'yun. Give love always, and 'yun nga, nasa lyrics. 'Give love,' 'bring hope,' and 'give joy.' Those are the three main things na dapat siguro gawin ngayong Pasko.

“When it comes to my family, I show the love by showing them that I care like sa mga kapatid ko. Binibigyan ko sila ng time. Kasi laging nasa trabaho. Pag-uwi mo minsan tulog ka nalang, pahinga ka nalang. Minsan kailangan din magbigay tayo ng oras sa kanila. Ilabas mo sila, ganun. For me, also love is pag nakikita mo 'yung smile nila. Pag may ginawa ka sa kanila, pag napangiti mo sila. For me that means “love shines.”
