Kapuso actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith expressed her excitement for 2020 to unfold especially she will have a number of projects that will surely liven up her
upcoming year.

One of the big projects coming up her way is the premier of the much-awaited Pinoy adaptation of Korean drama Descendants of the Sun
(https://www.gmanetwork.com/entertainment/tv/dots_ph/videos/), where she will be portraying the role of Captain Moira, one of the lead casts.

“I'm so thankful also na I was called in to audition for it. And I became their choice for Moira kasi it's such a huge responsibility to uphold,” Jasmine shared.

What keeps Jasmine more eager is the fact that her team up with Kapuso hunk Rocco Nacino has already received positive feedbacks from the audiences.

The actress also voiced her concern about the sentiments that Rocco highly resembles Korean actor Jin Goo, who played the original role of Master Sergeant Seo Dae-young, Rocco's equivalent.

“Pressured din ako na sana makuha ko din 'yung mga tingin, 'yung mata, ng original Captain Moira,” she added.

Aside from this, Jasmine has several upcoming film projects and she's also planning to venture into business.

Descendants of the Sun original cast included Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Kim Ji-won and Jin Goo, who played Captain Yoo Si-jin, Doctor Kang Mo-yeon, surgeon Yoon Myeong-Joo and Master Sergeant Seo Dae-young, respectively.

Dingdong is cast in the lead role of Captain Lucas, Jennylyn as Dr. Maxine aka Beauty, while Jasmine will portray Moira Defensor and Rocco Sgt. Diego Ramos.
