READ: Barbie Forteza, proud to be named as the Kapuso Primetime Princess

Barbie Forteza spent her Thursday afternoon, January 9, with showbiz bloggers at Crema & Cream Coffee Roasters learning about coffee and talking about her career.

At the panel interview after their coffee-making session, one of the bloggers asked Barbie if she ever feels pressure about being crowned as the Kapuso Primetime Princess by her home network, GMA.

According to her, "To be completely honest, medyo matagal na ako sa showbiz. Pinost ko nga sa Instagram na isang dekada na ako sa industriya. 'Yung sampung taon ko na 'yon, with GMA.

"Talagang laking pasasalamat ko dahil sobra 'yung tiwala na binibigay nila sa 'kin. Para sa isang artista, lalo na ako, bagets, kumpara sa iba, baguhan pa lang din naman ako, pero kinonsider nila ako and binigyan ng title.

"Para sa isang artista na mabigyan ka ng title, ibig sabihin established ka and kahit papaano may napatunayan ka na. Na-deserve mo 'yung title na 'yon.

"Sobrang thankful ko kasi parang feeling ko, na-prove ko sa network na I earned the title. Hindi siya parang, 'Ay si Barbie, matagal na siya 'eh, bigyan naman natin ng title para masabi lang.'

"Feeling ko naman para bigyan ako ng title, I earned it, I worked hard for it."

After their intimate blogger's conference, Barbie took to Instagram to thank everyone present and the people who made the event

"It's a dream come true as a coffee lover to try and make my own latte art. Spent my Thursday afternoon with some of our dear bloggers and I had so much fun chatting with all of them.

"No pressure. No inappropriate questions. We ended the event with so much energy (because of all sa espresso shots hahahaha) and big smiles.

"Endless gratitude. MARAMING SALAMAT PO. My heart is very happy. After a decade with GMA Network, I am finally proud to say that I AM the Kapuso Primetime Princess," she captioned.

Barbie is set to star in Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday alongside Kate Valdez, Snooky Serna, and Dina Bonnevie. Aside from her upcoming show, she also paired up with Dennis Trillo for Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.
