Barbie Forteza ecstatic over Selena Gomez's acknowledgment

Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza woke up to a great surprise yesterday, September 29, when she appeared in Hollywood superstar Selena Gomez's Instagram Story.

Her dance cover of global hit “Ice Cream” was featured on Selena's personal Instagram account.

In an interview with 24 Oras, Barbie said that it's very flattering to have been noticed by one of her biggest idols.

“Akala ko pa prank or hindi talaga si Selena. 'Tapos nu'ng unti-unti nang nagsi-sink in sa 'kin, sobrang kinilig ako. Kasi siyempre, isa sa mga idol ko talaga si Selena Gomez,” she shared.

She added, “Very interactive [si Selena] sa kanyang supporters na napapansin niya 'yung small efforts namin, mga dance covers ganyan. Talagang ina-acknowledge niya.”

“Ice Cream” is Selena's collaboration single with K-pop superstars BLACKPINK.

Meanwhile, Barbie and the rest of the cast of Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday have finished filming for the fresh episodes of the show.
