LOOK: Pops Fernandez says she can't wait to work with Alden Richards

Centerstage judge and Concert Queen Pops Fernandez shared a photo with Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards recently.

On Instagram, she wrote, “Can't wait.... #centerstage.”

The photo was taken at the rehearsal of their upcoming show, a singing competition for kids titled Centerstage, which is soon to premiere on GMA Primetime.

Pops is set to screen extremely talented kids in the said world-class yet friendly singing competition for kids. Alden will serve as the host.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Pops shared that she's excited to meet the kids she'll be judging.

Pops shared that she will stay honest but nice at the same time when it comes to screening the hopefuls that will try to find their way to stardom through the show.

“I think I'm going to be a very nice judge. I will be honest but I'll try to be very kind also, especially to the children.”

Also joining Pops as judges are Kapuso vocal powerhouse and West End singer Aicelle Santos, and renowned musical director Mel Villena.

Alden will be the “Kuya Host” of the show together with Centerstage sidestage host Betong Sumaya.

Following Pops' judging stint in American talent show The World's Best that was hosted by James Corden, Pops is now set to help aspiring kids turn their dreams into reality through Centerstage.

Centerstage will premiere on GMA Primetime on February 16, 2020.
