Vicky Morales on staying loyal to GMA: 'I really can't picture myself anywhere else'

Multi-awarded news personality and GMA News Pillar Vicky Morales couldn't picture herself anywhere else that's why leaving Kapuso Network didn't cross her mind.

In her exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com during the pocket interview for her new show Ilaban Natin 'Yan held at GMA Network Center Building on Thursday afternoon, Vicky said she considers the people here as a family and found her comfort zone working as a Kapuso.

Vicky explained, “Yung mga production assistant ko dati, sila na 'yung mga boss ngayon [laughs].

“Parang we all grew up together. Lahat kami nangangapa dati and then we grew up together. So that's the kind of environment you really want to work in.

“Yung alam mo na 'yung kinks ng ibang tao, alam mo talaga kung ano 'yung kiliti ng tao. Talagang family, It's family already.”

The award-winning anchor also added that she is happy to be a Kapuso since she started her career in the network 30 years ago.

“It never crossed my mind. Moving networks never crossed my mind, because I've been so happy in this network. I grew up here.

“I started here straight out of college and I really can't picture myself anywhere else.”

In Ilaban Natin 'Yan, Vicky described her new role too. From being dubbed as the 'fairy godmother,' this time around, she is excited for her new role as a 'referee godmother.'

She tells in her interview with Aubrey Carampel how different her new show is from Wish Ko Lang.

Vicky quips, “Ibang-iba kasi 'di ba siyempre sa Wish Ko Lang, alam mo 'yung ginagawa ko namimigay ako ng scholarships, pinagtatagpo ko 'yung pamilya?

“Tapos sa Good News siyempre lahat magandang balita 'yun.

“Ito ibang-iba sa mga ginagawa ko. Siyempre nandiyan 'yung mga nagbabangayan, siyempre iba kaagad 'yung persona pero nakikita ko pa rin 'yung crossover.

“Kumbaga from fairy godmother, magiging referee godmother na ako [laughs].”
