Korean actor Lee Min Ho set to make his acting comeback with 'Goblin' actress Kim Go Eun

After completing his military service last year, South Korean actor Lee Min Ho is set to make his much-awaited return on television and will make you kilig with a new drama.

Last Saturday, February 28, SBS unveiled its first teaser of the drama, “The King: Eternal Monarch.”

According to reports, the drama is about two parallel universes of monarchy and democracy. Lee Min Ho will play the character Emperor Lee Gon who tries to close the door between the two worlds, while actress Kim Go Eun (Goblin) will take on the role of detective Jung Tae Eul, who works with the emperor to protect people's lives.

The drama was written by Kim Eun Sook who created the popular television dramas “Lovers in Paris,” “The Heirs,” “Goblin,” “Mr. Sunshine,” and “Descendants of the Sun.”

In a recent report, a source from the production company Hwa&Dam Pictures has confirmed that the upcoming drama is set to premiere in April 2020.

In other Lee Min Ho news, the South Korean actor was reported to have joined other celebrities in donating to help coronavirus relief efforts.

According to sources, the actor has already donated a whopping 300 million Korean Won to eight different organizations including Fruit of Love, Good Neighbors, Love Bridge, Save the Children, and Green Umbrella. The money will be used to help children in low-income families who need medical and preventative help.
