By Cara Emmeline Garcia

In the middle of the growing anxiety surrounding the coronavirus disease pandemic in the Philippines, Millennial It girl and global endorser Gabbi Garcia took the time to lift everyone's moods and spirits through an inspiring song.

Accompanied by her sister Alex, the Kapuso actress sang a cover of Hillsong's “Good Grace.”

She wrote on Instagram, “When I first heard this song, I instantly fell in love with it.

“Here's a little reminder that despite everything, God is always present and He will forever love us.”

She then dedicated the song to the frontliners (doctors, medical practitioners, security personnel, etc.), the Philippines, and the whole world in battling the said disease.

The song contains these words, “Don't let your heart be troubled / Hold your head up high / Don't fear no evil / Fix your eyes on this one truth / God is madly in love with you / Take courage / Hold on / Be strong / Remember where our help comes from / Jesus.”

On Monday evening, March 16, President Rodrigo Duterte placed the entire Luzon under an enhanced community quarantine as a preventive measure to stop the COVID-19 pandemic.

At this writing, the Department of Health has recorded over 140 cases in the Philippines.
