Dominique Cojuangco responds to netizen asking her, 'Why can't you donate instead?'

Dominique Cojuangco gives an update about her current situation while on lockdown during the COVID-19 crisis.

According to Dominique, who is currently based in San Francisco, California, she has been working from home for 10 days since the lockdown.

"Been on lockdown for ten days now - working at home and drinking lots of vitamins. This type of self-care is not available to everyone.

"I've been rationing my food as much as possible, but this is some people's reality everyday," she wrote on her Instagram post.

The daughter of Gretchen Barretto and Tonyboy Cojuangco then made the situation an example to avoid hoarding and wasting food.

"I hope that everyone's taking the same precautions when it comes to not being wasteful, and not hoarding. As much as we can, let's be grateful for what we have," Dominique said.

While her intention on the post was to give awareness about the situation of other during COVID-19 crisis, Dominique was not spared from a negative comment from a netizen asking her, "Then why cant you donate instead?"

Dominique simply replied, "Not everything needs to be posted on social media to count as a good deed xo"

Many of her followers agreed to Dominique's answer.

They said that there's no need to post everything online.

Last January 2020, Gretchen said that her only daughter earned her second degree as magna cum laude.
