Fashion designer Ito Curata dies from COVID-19

Fashion designer Ito Curata has passed away on Thursday, March 26, due to COVID-19 related complications.

The renowned designer was said to have suffered from pneumonia after contracting the coronavirus.

According to Lifestyle Asia, Ito was confined at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center for a week prior to his death.

Curata was considered an expert in the fashion, after being in the industry for over 30 years and worked with many prominent names such as Hollywood actress Sharon Stone, former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, designer and socialite Tessa Prieto-Valdes, and actress Bea Alonzo.

Curata is survived by his husband Bob Miller and son Taj.
