Announcement: GMA-7 Maundy Thursday Programming
In observance of the Holy Week when we commemorate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, GMA Network rolls out a special and heartwarming Lenten program lineup for Maundy Thursday, April 9; Good Friday, April 10; and Black Saturday, April 11.
Maundy Thursday opens with the special telecast of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints April 2020 General Conference at 5:00 a.m.
Followed by “Angry Birds Toons with Stella and Piggy Tales,” a fantasy series that focuses on multi-colored birds that try to save their eggs from their green-colored pig enemies at 8:00 a.m.
Viewers are in for another treat as they are about to embark on exciting adventures with “Lilo & Stitch” at 9:00 a.m.
Tune in to Disney's well-beloved films that impart the meaning of love, courage, and faith in the animated musical films “Pocahontas” and “Aladdin” at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively.
GMA being the Heart of Asia brings the popular romantic-comedy film, “My Sassy Girl” top-billed by South Korean stars, Ji-Hyun Jun and Tae-Hyun Cha, which will air at 1:30 p.m.
Explore the story of Jesus Christ from the perspective of those closest to him, including Joseph in “Jesus His Life: Joseph” voiced by Descendants of the Sun [The Philippine Adaptation] actor Rocco Nacino at 3:00 p.m.
At 3:30 p.m., follow the story of four women whose lives are transformed after learning about Jesus in the biblical film “Magdalena” starring actress Rebecca Ritz.
Try to be in John the Baptist's shoes as he relates his version of the life of Jesus in “Jesus His Life: John The Baptist”, voiced by “Owe My Love” actor Benjamin Alves at 5:00 p.m.
Catch Love of My Life actress Coney Reyes as she gives life to the character of Wanda in CBN Asia's Holy Week special “Wanda's Wonderful World,” at 5:30 p.m.
Take a closer look at the journey of Mary, Jesus Christ's holy mother in “Jesus His Life: Mary” voiced by Kapuso actress Max Collins at 7:00 p.m.
Join Moses (Charlton Heston) in his divine mission as the deliverer of people in the epic religious drama film “The Ten Commandments” at 7:30 p.m.
