More Hollywood movies are facing delays with its release dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among them are big-budget movies like Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Morbius, both from Sony Pictures.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is directed by Jason Reitman and is the fourth film in the Ghostbusters franchise.

It stars Mckenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard as two children who discover their grandfather's link to the original Ghostbusters after their town suddenly experiences unexplained earthquakes.

The film was set to be released on July 10, 2020 but has been pushed back to March 5, 2021.

Meanwhile, Morbius starring Jared Leto will now be released on March 19, 2021. It was originally slated to premiere on July 31, 2020.

The upcoming superhero movie will tell the story of scientist Michael Morbius, played by Leto, who becomes a vampire after trying to cure himself of a rare blood disease.

Filming for Uncharted starring Tom Holland was also affected by COVID-19 pandemic. The movie was set to start filming in Germany in April but was put on hold.

Uncharted is a movie adaptation of hit action-adventure video game series of the same title about treasure hunter Nathan Drake.

The film was set to be released on March 5, 2021, but will now premiere on October 8, 2021.

Movie release dates for other films such as Mulan and No Time To Die have also been delayed due to COVID-19.
