After his much celebrated legal victory, former Monsta X member Wonho is now moving forward with his career by signing an exclusive contract with Highline Entertainment.

On Friday, April 10, news broke after Highline Entertainment announced that the 27-year-old is now pursuing a solo career.

It wrote, “We recently signed an exclusive contract with Wonho. We will provide our full support for Wonho to newly start activities as a solo artist.”

In the same statement, Wonho commented, “I am deeply reflecting on my foolish and thoughtless actions from the past.

"I am very thankful to the fans who have given me this opportunity and I will do my best to repay the support they have given me.”

Minutes after the announcement, Highline Entertainment has also launched the official Twitter and Instagram accounts as well as a fan cafe for the K-pop singer.

The great news was also confirmed by music executive Eshy Gazit, CEO of Gramophone Media, who is the US managing partner of Monsta X and other K-pop artists.

In the tweet, he wrote, “I'm proud to announce that I'll be managing Wonho internationally with his new ventures. #alwaysbyyourside #WONHOISBACK #wonho”

Furthermore, Monbebes and Wonho stans couldn't contain their excitement and joy over the great news.

On Twitter, the hashtag “#WonhoIsBack” is one of the top 10 trending topics worldwide.

Highline Entertainment is a subsidiary of Starship Entertainment--the home of K-pop groups including Monsta X, Sistar, WJSN --- and houses artists including DJ Soda, dress, and PLUMA.

Most recently, fans showed their support for Wonho by sending the 2017 song, “From Zero,” in the No.1 World Digital Song Sales Chart of Billboard.

The track was co-written and produced by Wonho himself proving his viability and commercial appeal as an artist.
