Netflix drops official trailer of Lee Min Ho's new series 'The King: Eternal Monarch'

Streaming site Netflix dropped the official trailer of OG oppa Lee Min Ho and 'Goblin' actress Kim Go Eun on Monday, April 13.

His newest Korean drama titled The King: Eternal Monarch is the South Korean superstar's comeback project after Legend of the Blue Sea with actress Ji-Hyun Jun in 2016.

The King: Eternal Monarch is a romantic fantasy drama that follows the story of a king, portrayed by Lee Min Ho, who crosses into an alternate universe just to meet the person he has been searching for so long.

The newest K-drama was written by Kim Eun Sook who created the popular television dramas Mr. Sunshine and Descendants of the Sun, which both aired in GMA Heart of Asia.

It will be directed by acclaimed South Korean directors Baek Sang-hoon and Jeong Jee-hyun.

The King: Eternal Monarch is set to premier on Netflix on April 17.
