Ahgase, rejoice because the day we're waiting for is finally here!

As of 5 pm (Manila Time), the comeback album of Korean boy group GOT7 is finally out along with the music video of their title track “Not By The Moon.”

In the video, we see the septet JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom harmonizing to the melody and dancing to the rhythm of their pop ballad.

The song features a message of an infinite love that never changes and features a harmonious blend of rising beats, heavy sounds, and the lovely voices of each member.

It says in the chorus, “O swear not by the moon / Changing everyday like the moon /Don't make that vow / The last and everlasting / If the kiss is not the kind.// Dye me with you / Dye yourself with me / So I can be inside you / And also you can be inside me / We can be together forever / O swear not by the moon.//”

The song was written, composed, and arranged by JYP Entertainment founder Jin Young “The Asian Soul” Park.

Aside from “Not By The Moon,” other tracks in the mini-album showcase the members' writing skills including “Crazy” by JB under his pseudonym DEFSOUL, “Love” by Jinyoung, “Aura” by Youngjae, and “Poison” by Yugyeom.

For the past week, the septet has also been closely promoting their new album amid the COVID-19 pandemic by having “dates” with their fans at specific times of the day.

Yesterday, the group was also seen together via VLive where they shared their thoughts about the new album.

In an article produced by Soompi, the septet discussed taking on a brand-new concept for their comeback and confessed that they were worried about how fans would react.

“The entire time we were working on this comeback, we worried endlessly about whether fans would like it.”

However, when they began releasing teasers and their title track, they admitted to feeling surprised by their fans' reactions.

“Because we had been worried, we felt proud that we got a great response to our teasers.

“We didn't want the time our fans spent waiting for us to have been a waste so we poured all our hearts into making this mini-album. We tried new things and took on new challenges to show a new side of ourselves that they haven't seen before.

“This album and our concept are a different style from everything that GOT7 has done up until now.”

Their latest mini-album “Dye” is out now on all music streaming platforms.
