The parody account that originally used the name of Ethel Booba is back on Twitter. But this time, it doesn't want to have any trace of connection with the comedienne.
The Twitter account that previously used the handle @IamEthylGabison returns under the username “Charot!” or @IamCharotism. It temporarily went offline starting April 10 after Ethel claimed that the account is fake.
In one of Ethel's vlog entries, the comedienne further clarified that she doesn't have any involvement with the fake Twitter account. And this was echoed satirically in the reactivated account.
The account Charot! updated its profile, claiming, “Started as parody account until Ethel claimed it as hers on National TV.” This refers to the comedian claiming ownership to the account on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
The account also confirmed removing its other tweets to stop getting identified with the comedienne.
One of its recent posts read, “Usapan na din 'yun na if babalik account need alisin lahat connection naming sa Twitter. Charot!”
Plan ko din umalis, need to delete old tweets at possible change ng username. Charot! https://t.co/Dlu0RClxSR
