'Phantom of the Opera' sequel 'Love Never Dies' to stream for free on YouTube this weekend

Following the free YouTube streaming of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, the musical's sequel entitled Love Never Dies is also heading to YouTube streaming for free on the channel "The Shows Must Go On."

The free streaming of The Phantom of the Opera on YouTube from April 17-19 raised over $400,000 for The Actors Fund and other charities for COVID-19 relief efforts.

The musical continues the story of The Phantom of the Opera 10 years later in New York City, where The Phantom has escaped to a new life in the city.

Meanwhile, Christine has become one of the world's finest sopranos but is struggling in a rocky marriage to Raoul.

She travels to New York and performs at a renowned opera house.

In a final attempt to win back her love, The Phantom lures Christine to a new world.

Catch the Australian production of the musical starring Ben Lewis as The Phantom and Anna O'Byrne as Christine Daaé, and Simon Gleeson as Raoul on Love Never Dies, available starting April 24 at 2 PM ET for 48 hours on The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel.
