GMA Artist Center issues warning on fake account using Shaira Diaz for soliciting donations

GMA Artist Center has released a statement to warn the public about a certain individual who is using the name of Kapuso actress Shaira Diaz to solicit donations amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In an Instagram post last April 29, Artist Center stressed that Shaira is not connected with a certain Remida Diaz.

"#ShairaDiaz warns everyone of an account with the name Remida Diaz, who is pretending to be her and asking for donations! Keep safe online, mga Kapuso!

While there are currently no tapings, Shaira Diaz is actively involved in helping frontliners. In fact, the actress gave out personal protective equipment (PPE) and packed meals for healthcare workers, which she shared in her vlog.
