Lovi Poe and Tom Rodriguez's 'Someone To Watch Over Me' set to air in the Dominican Republic

Kapuso actress Lovi Poe announced on Monday, May 11, that the Kapuso teleserye Someone To Watch Over Me is set to air in the Dominican Republic starting May 21.

Lovi, together with Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez and Max Collins, starred in the series that was aired on Philippine television four years ago.

Ecstatic over the news, Lovi posted a throwback picture of herself with Tom that was taken in the set of the said series.

“Que lo que, DR? Are you ready for #NoMeOlvides??!

“Remember this guys? It's been four years since I portrayed Joanna in #SomeoneToWatchOverMe, yet it's one of my most memorable projects.

"I'm glad this will be shown in the Dominican Republic starting May 21st every 4pm at Color Vision Canal 9,” she wrote.

Someone to Watch Over Me follows the story of Joanna's (Lovi) unwavering love for her husband TJ (Tom) who is suffering from early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Trying to make everything better for TJ, who no longer recognizes her, Joanna will sacrifice her right as TJ's wife and will put up with the presence of her husband's ex-girlfriend Irene (Max).

The drama series also stars Edu Manzano, Jackie Lou Blanco, Ronnie Lazaro, Isay Alvarez-Seña, Boy 2 Quizon, Frances Makil-Ignacio, and Ralph Noriega.

Directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes, Someone to Watch Over Me was nominated in New York Festivals World's Best TV & Films for Best Telenovela in 2017.
