A documentary film will be released by K-pop group BIGBANG on YouTube featuring main vocalist Taeyang. The first part of the eight-episode documentary will premiere on BIGBANG's official YouTube channel on May 18.

Each episode will debut every Thursday and Monday for the following four weeks after the first episode.

The upcoming documentary is second among BIGBANG's short films. The first one, "Kwon Ji Yong Act III: M.O.T.T.E" featuring member G-Dragon was released in 2018.

"White Night" is also the title of Taeyang's solo album in 2017. The documentary shall depict the artist's 215-day journey showing his preparations for his album until his military service enlistment in March 2018. It will also show his married life to Korean actress Min Hyo-rin.

BIGBANG is also expected to have a music comeback this year after its members have gone on hiatus due to their mandatory military service.

Members Taeyang, Daesung, G-Dragon, and T.O.P. have been released from the military in 2019 while former member Seungri has left the group due to a criminal scandal last year.
