BLINKs, Jennie of BLACKPINK has shared an update about their highly-anticipated June comeback.

On May 9, the Korean pop singer took to Instagram Live to reveal that she together with the other members have all gathered in the studio to record their album.

After greeting fans, she turned to her bandmates and said, “Why are we in the studio today?”

Rose, whose voice can be heard in the background shouted, “For our music video meeting! This is news for our BLINKs!”

Jennie added, “Yes, we're in the studio nearly every day these days to prepare for our comeback. You're curious about our music video, right? We're curious too.”

BLACKPINK member Jisoo then proceeded to give their fans a “sneak peek” of their track by announcing, “I'll explain our song for this comeback.”

She then raised her feet and expressed the song through an interpretative dance adding, “And then Lisa dances something like this.”

The dance move received a hysterical laugh from Jennie.

In the same broadcast, Jennie revealed that she's suffering from a leg injury that she sustained while running in her treadmill.

She said, “During our time off, I was exercising a lot. Jisoo warned me not to go overboard. But one day, after finishing Pilates, I felt like it wasn't enough. I wanted to sweat more so I started running on a treadmill.

“This is so stupid that I don't even know how to explain. So basically, I was running and I tripped on myself. On my ankle. And now, my ligament hurt.”

Jennie assured her fans that she is well and that they don't need to worry.

Adding, “It's been a few weeks so I'm already much better. It won't affect our comeback at all.”

On May 4, YG confirmed that BLACKPINK is gearing up for their comeback following more than a year and four months since “Kill This Love.”
