By Marah Ruiz

EXO's Suho has enlisted today, May 14 for the mandatory military service which all South Korean males must serve.

He debuted his military hairstyle, the mandatory buzz cut, in a photo with fellow EXO members who sent him off to his enlistment.

The photos were posted on the Lysn app and were promptly shared by fans across other social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.

Another EXO member Lay, who is busy promoting in China, sent his regards to Suho via his Instagram stories.

The group photo and send off has become something of a tradition for EXO, who have done the same when members Xiumin and D.O enlisted.

Suho announced the date of his enlistment to fans with a handwritten letter.

He will reportedly serve as a public service worker after four weeks of basic training.

His agency SM Entertainment did not disclose the time and location of his enlistment for his privacy, but media outlet Newsen reports that he has entered the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam in the afternoon of May 14.

Before his enlistment, Suho released his first solo mini album 'Self-Portrait.'
