
Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy proudly announced that he is bringing Netflix to the Philippines.
He posted the announcement on his Instagram account, saying that his third Netflix special will be released on June 12.
"I'm so excited to announce that my 3rd @netflix special “In His Elements” premieres June 12. We brought Netflix to the Philippines! Let's go!!"
In the video, Jo Koy revealed that he wants to show the world what it's like in the Philippines. He even brought some of his friends along.
"It's a very special moment for me. This is that one special where I was like I need to go back home, the Philippines.
"I need to show the people where my mom is from. I had this crazy idea; I was like let me bring a bunch of my friends that are Filipino that live in America that haven't even been back to the Philippines.
"Let's show how beautiful the country is, let's show how beautiful the people are and lets just do a show. It's called Jo Koy: In His Elements."
As this special is purely Filipino, and that his Filipino mom will be proud of what he has done.
"Everything about this special is Filipino, the cameraman, the people in the audience, the people that own the venue."
"We need to embrace our culture and have a great time. I can't wait for the world to see it. Love you guys! So proud of this one. My mom is going to be more proud 'cause I finally brought Netflix to the Philippines."
