Alden Richards, nagpaabot ng tulong sa Paco Catholic School at Don Bosco Makati

Agad na nagpaabot ng tulong si Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards sa Paco Catholic School at Don Bosco Makati nang mapanood niya ang 24 Oras report tungkol sa pagtulong ng Catholic institutions na ito sa mga apektado ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Malapit sa puso ni Alden ang Paco Catholic School, dahil dito siya nag-aral noong high school. Ayon sa report ng 24 Oras, binuksan ng naturang eskuwelahan ang kanilang pintuan para sa 160 street dwellers na nasa pangangalaga nila mula noong March 25 pa.

Nagpaabot naman ng pasasalamat ang mga natulungan ni Alden sa isang video na ipinost sa kanilang Facebook page.

Wala rin pagsidlan ng tuwa ang mga taga Don Bosco Makati sa tulong na ibinigay ng aktor.

Sa mensahe na pinadala ni Fr. Favie Faldas na dating Rector ng Don Bosco Canlubang, malaking bagay ang donasyon na ibinigay ng Asia's Multimedia Star dahil tatlong beneficiaries ang nakinabang dito.

Ayon kay Fr. Faldas, "Personally and on behalf of the organizer of our fundraiser we like to thank Mr. Alden Richards through his handler also Leysam for their generous donation and support to this COVID-19 project of the past pupil of the Don Bosco Institute of Makati."

"The proceeds of our fundraising went to three beneficiaries: one is for the frontliners of Makati Med, who are staying here at St. John Bosco Parish.

"Also, for the shelter for the homeless care of Father Flavie Villanueva (SVD) [who is] also an alumnus of ours.

"Also for the purchase of PPEs (personal protective equipment) for the frontliners of St. Clare's Medical Center here in Makati."

Dagdag ni Fr. Faldas, iniidolo nila ang Kapuso actor dahil sa kabutihan ng kanyang puso.

"Kaya Alden [Richards] malaki ang papasalamat namin sa iyo. Idol ka namin, 'di lang sa panonood ng TV pati rin sa iyong kagandahang puso."

Noong Marso, pinasalamatan din ni Laguna representative Len Alonte si Alden at ang pamilya nito dahil sa ipinaabot nilang donasyon para sa frontliners.
