GMA News reporter Saleema Refran tests negative for COVID-19

GMA News reporter Saleema Refran is looking forward to getting out of the hospital soon. She revealed that she already recovered from pneumonia and tested negative for COVID-19.

On her Instagram post yesterday, May 18, Saleema expressed her gratitude to the doctors who cared for her.

She wrote, "Salamat sa lahat ng nagdasal! Kita kits soon!

"Salamat sa mga magagaling kong duktor Dr Elsie Baronia-Locson LC Elle and Dr Sheena Marie Anne Santos

"Salamat sa mga nag-alaga sa akin sa buong ospital. Di ko po kayo malilimutan.

"Salamat din sa mga magagaling na duktor at medical personnel ng QC Health.

"Salamat po ang kinumbinse nyo ako na wag balewalain ang hika ko."

Saleema also thanked her family for their immense support and allaying her fears during her bout with pneumonia.

"Salamat sa family ko sa palaging pagpapatawa sa akin kahit alam ko lahat tayo takot na takot.

"Salamat po Lord at ligtas po ako."

Saleema Refran took home the Most Trusted Media Personality of the Year in 2017 at the 4th Annual Inding- Indie Film Festival.

The Philippines has recorded 12,718 cases of coronavirus cases; with 2,729 recovering from it.
