Dion Ignacio, proud to be a part of 'StarStruck'

Up to this day, Dion Ignacio clearly remembers the memories he had when he joined the first season of StarStruck 17 years ago.

As a breadwinner, the Kapuso actor can't help but feel proud to be a part of the reality-based artista search because it enabled him to provide financial assistance to his family.

Dion said, "Ang proudest moment ko po bilang Kapuso talent is no'ng napabilang po ako sa StarStruck, napasali sa Final 14.

"Dahil dito po, natulungan ko 'yung mga kapatid ko, family ko po, nakaipon ako."

Moreover, Dion took pride in joining StarStruck because it marked his debut in show business, making him known as one of the most attractive actors in the industry.

"Dahil po do'n sobrang thankful and grateful ako sa lahat ng projects na natatanggap ko po ngayon at nagpapasalamat po ako sa tiwala na binibigay sa 'kin ng GMA Network."

Dion was the last male avenger of StarStruck Season 1, opposite Nadine Samonte.

After playing a string of supporting roles, he got his first lead role as Raul Agoncillo in the remake of Saan Darating Ang Umaga? aired in 2008. He was paired with Yasmien Kurdi.

After 11 years, Dion and Yasmien reunited in the 2019 drama series Hiram na Anak.

At present, he plays Zander Rodriguez in GMA Afternoon Prime series, Magkaagaw.
