Son Ye-jin is officially the "Most Beautiful Woman in the World" for 2020, according to a global poll done by entertainment site Starmometer.

The Korean actress got 4,354,037 votes conducted through social media and an online ballot.

Son Ye-jin's biggest rival in the category was BLACKPINK's Lisa Manoban, but after all the votes were combined, Son Ye Jin outnumbered Lisa by more than 500,000 votes.

South Korean actress #SonYeJin emerged as the winner of #MostBeautifulWoman2020 online poll after garnering a total of 4,354,037 votes from social media and online ballot. The #CrashLandingOnYou star ruled in three platforms (Instagram 2, Facebook 1 and Facebook 2) to win the battle for people's votes. Her biggest rival was Thailand's #LalisaManoban who topped three platforms as well (Instagram 1, Twitter, and Online Poll). News of the Crash Landing on You actress's triumph reached Korean media outlets such as Dispatch, Nate, and Naver. They picked up the news and featured Son Ye-jin's title as "Most Beautiful in the World."

Son Ye-jin rose to fame in the early 2000s after appearing in Korean films such as The Classic, A Moment to Remember, and April Snow.

She also appeared in the popular drama Endless Love: Summer Scent which aired on GMA Network.

Recently, Son Ye-jin starred in Netflix dramas Something in the Rain and Crash Landing on You where she was paired with actors Jung Hae-in and Hyun Bin, respectively.
