EXCLUSIVE: Gil Cuerva reveals why he deleted his Instagram photos
In an exclusive Q&A with Gil Cuerva, he revealed the reason he scrubbed all of his photos in his Instagram account.
Gil said, “People have been asking me about it.”
He continued by telling that he had a lot going on in his life and his Instagram account makes him feel unhappy.
“Without trying to sound overly dramatic, I had a rough couple of months, you know?”
Gil added, “A lot was going on in my life. It felt like every time I look at my old Instagram photos, I'll be reminded of things that would make me sad.”
The Taste Buddies host clarified that not all of the photos make him sad.
Still, Gil decided to make a fresh start on his social media account.
“Obviously, not all of my photos, but a huge chunk of my photos would remind me of memories that once made me happy now kind of make me feel sad.
"So, I've decided to scrap everything, start anew," he said.
Likewise, Gil said that he looks forward to make a fresh start in his personal life.
“I told myself this 2020, I'm gonna start fresh, man. I am going to start a new chapter in my life.
"Hopefully, a new chapter of growth, of improvement, of learning, of becoming a better person.”
He also mentioned that new photos will be up, which he hopes to make him a much happier person.
“I can definitely assure you guys my Instagram will be full of photos soon.”
“When the time is right, my Instagram will once again be full of photos and maybe by then I'll be a much happier person than I am today.”
