Top Japanese idol group Arashi has chosen a kiddie favorite for the seventh episode of Arashi's Picturebook Storytime series.

This time, they will do a read-aloud of Hans Christian Andersen's popular tale, "The Emperor's New Clothes."

"There's a lot of conversations in today's script," remarks member Kazunari Ninomiya.

They have once again divided up the roles, with some members playing multiple characters.

Masaki Aiba will be the story's star as he will play the Emperor while Satoshi Ohno will play the Courtier. Jun Matsumoto and Sho Sakurai will play different people in the crowd. Kazunari Ninomiya will be the narrator.

Arashi launched their Picturebook Storytime series to entertain both kids and adults who are stuck at home due to COVID-19.

They opened the series with a reading of "The Three Little Pigs" and followed it up with popular fairy tales such as "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "Little Red Riding Hood."

They have also read Asian folktales like "The Adventures of Son Goku" and "Father" from Sumatra.
Arashi has also recently participated in We Are One: A Global Film Festival's COVID-19 fundraiser by streaming some exclusive footage of their past stage performances.
