Janine Gutierrez considers her TV debut as her proudest Kapuso moment

By Marah Ruiz

Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez recalls being surrounded by members of her family on her first-ever television appearance.

She was first introduced in the defunct variety show Party Pilipinas back in 2011.

"I first appeared in Party Pilipinas and then 'yung nag-interview sa akin after noong [production number] were my uncles, si Richard and si Raymond," Janine shares in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.

Recalling the moment still makes her very proud as she felt the support of both the network and her family.

"My parents were in the audience, my siblings were in the audience, my tita was in the audience. I felt so welcomed by GMA and supported by my family," she says.

Janine went on to be one of the most sought-after leading ladies in GMA.

She starred in the 2013 remake of popular soap Villa Quintana, and had lead roles in shows More Than Words, Once Again, and Dragon Lady.

She remains grateful to her home network for nurturing her talents and sent a short message as GMA celebrates its 70th anniversary.

"Happy anniversary, mga Kapuso! I wish you all the best. Congratulations on 70 years of being part of Filipinos' hearts and homes. Here's to 70 more years," she says.
