After more than a year, K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is finally back to break the internet with their latest single and music video “How You Like That.”

In the 3-minute video, Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo empower fans with their captivating lyrics about achieving triumph after a huge downfall.

They sing, “I crumbled before your eyes, hit rock bottom and sunk deeper / To grab onto the last bit of hope, I've tried to reach out with both of my hands / Again in this dark place, light up the sky / While looking into your eyes, I'll kiss you goodbye / Laugh all you want while you still can / Because it's about your turn, 1, 2, 3 / How you like that?”

Earlier today, BLACKPINK stunned at their global press conference to talk about the comeback and their first full-length album that's coming out in September this year.

According to Jennie, “Since this is our full-length album, the process took a long time.

“Through this pre-release, I want to showcase newer and more diverse genres compared to the past like a taste test.”

The quartet also gave hints as to what audiences might expect from the track with Jennie and Lisa copying movements from the fictional character King Kong, and Rosé doing a cat-like motion.

Rosé explains, “A cat's charm is being calm but also being able to transform quickly. Our song is like that, it's calm in the beginning but it transforms similar to a cat.”

When asked what's the message of the song, Jisoo shared, “The message that I want to give out to fans is to deliver something positive and hopeful.

“We all wanted to say that everyone shouldn't lose hope and confidence even during dark times. We will rise again.”

Aside from their latest music video, BLACKPINK will also be appearing on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the track live marking a new milestone for the South Korean girl group.

Rosé shared, “Through this opportunity, I felt once more that music is universal and it can overcome any language barriers.”

Main dancer Lisa added, “Rather than setting records or making history, I'm just excited to see how fans will enjoy and feel the new song.”

“How You Like That” is out now on all digital streaming platforms.
