By Cara Emmeline Garcia

With less than seven days to go, Red Velvet's new sub-unit Irene and Seulgi are well on their way to debut their first mini-album titled “Monster.”

Last June 21st, the duo first released an enigmatic teaser that deals with “shadows.”

“One individual. Two shadows. 2020.07.06” it said, revealing the release date of the track.

Earlier today, Irene and Seulgi shared their very first mood sampler for the track titled “The Rooms.”

In the mini video, we see the two K-pop idols in similar outfits as they sashay inside a colorful room -- a visual play on their duality as a sub-unit.

Since its release earlier today, the video has already garnered more than 700,000 views and over 170,000 Likes on the video-sharing platform.

They also shared individual teaser cuts that feature Irene lounging inside the same pink room.

Based on SM Entertainment's announcement, “Monster” will feature six tracks namely: “Monster,” “Naughty,” “Diamond,” “Feel Good,” “Jelly, and “Uncover.”

Furthermore, there will be two versions of the mini-album -- one black and the other white -- with each containing a lyrics book, the CD, five posters, two stickers (black version), a guarantee card (white version), postcards, and photo cards.

Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi will make their debut on July 6.
