Kim Soo Hyun and Hyun Bin are South Korea's highest paid actors

Korean actors Kim Soo Hyun and Hyun Bin were named the most bankable actors in South Korea after they took over the list of highest-paid Korean actors.

According to Allkpop, Kim Soo Hyun is receiving over a whopping 200 Million KRW or $167,000 per episode.

He is said to be worth even more as he will earn some of the profit from the licensing fee for Netflix and product placements in the drama.

His fee was stated to be the highest per-episode salary in Korean drama history.

The previous record was held by Lee Byung Hun for the 2018 drama Mr. Sunshine where he received 150 Million KRW or $126,000 USD per episode.

Kim Soo Hyun was discharged from the military last July 2019 and made a cameo appearance in Crash Landing On You.

Meanwhile, the second spot goes to Crash Landing on You lead actor Hyun Bin, who is reportedly earning around $83,900 per TV drama episode.

Hyun Bin also starred in dramas Memories of Alhambra, Secret Garden, and My Name is Kim Sam Soon.

Other actors included in the top paid Korean actors in television list are Jo In Sung, So Ji Sub, Lee Seung Gi, Lee Min Ho, Yoo Ah In, Lee Jong Suk, Song Joong Ki, and Ji Chang Wook.
