If there is a silver lining due to this COVID-19 pandemic is that you have more time to spend with our family at home.

But how are you going to strengthen the family ties amid this terrible crisis?

Award-winning travel host and proud father to three kids soon, Drew Arellano will help parents navigate the new normal with the new show, Family Time.

During a video conference with the entertainment press on July 14, Drew talked about the topics he will tackle in Family Time.

“The show is called Family Time. With the help of experts we will be giving helpful tips on parenting because I'm also a new parent.

“We will probably ask some experts on how to build strong relationships and create a safe and happy home.

“We will also probably show some home activities, simple yet fun for the parents and the kids which they can enjoy together.”

Drew also pointed out that he is looking forward to discussing the topic of homeschooling since he and wife Iya Villania have been talking about it even before the pandemic.

“We will also dab on homeschooling. 'Di ba mga bata ngayon stuck at home, so hopefully, we can talk to experts on homeschooling, kasi it's funny, pre-quarantine we were really thinking homeschooling our kids.

“Because I'm gonna be experiencing that process also, it's gonna be good to talk to experts about that.”

“It's a plan to pretty much try and record, you know the process and the journey of what's gonna happen, before my wife pops out.

“Actually, even the weekly hospital checkups, because of course my wife has to wear PPE (Personal protective equipment), the face masks, write on all the forms.”

Drew went on to say that giving birth during this pandemic will be a whole lot different because of additional safety protocols being implemented by the hospital.

He added that he won't be able to be with his wife in the delivery room when she gives birth to their third child.

"It's gonna be different, the actual giving of birth because I can't just be inside the car [waiting for her]. But I can't be inside the delivery room as well apparently.

“So, I have to be in our room. So, it would be nice to document actually because a lot of moms out there who are also gonna give birth in the coming weeks and months would want to know kung ano 'yung magiging proseso 'pag pupunta sila sa ospital at sila 'yung manganganak.”
