Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay reveal story behind 'Team Jolly' tag

Prima Donnas star Sofia Pablo and StarStruck Season 7 alumnus Allen Ansay graced today's, July 24, episode of morning talk show Unang Hirit.

During the live broadcast, the two, also known as Team Jolly for their YouTube channel, shared the story behind the said tag.

The two were formerly known as AlFia, short name for Allen and Sofia.

“'Yung Team Jolly is…kaya po kami tinawag na Team Jolly kasi parang masayahin daw po kami. So, parang naisip po namin na mas cute kung Team Jolly para naman po mas catchy siya,” the Prima Donnas star said.

Since their pairing is becoming more popular, Allen expressed his gratitude towards the people who appreciate them and their YouTube content.

“Siyempre sobrang thankful po kami kasi nagugustuhan po nila 'yung vlog namin at siyempre habang napapasaya po namin sila, siyempre nag-e-enjoy din po kami habang ginagawa po 'yun,” he said.

After the brief chitchat, Team Jolly also performed the hit “Chinita” dance challenge on the show.
