BLACKPINK to drop first album in October!

BLINKs, hold on to your seats because BLACKPINK just released the official date for their debut album, and it's dropping this October 2.

Details of their highly-anticipated album were released by YG Entertainment on Tuesday, July 28.

According to the post, “BLACKPINK THE ALBUM” will contain a CD, a photobook, a postcard set, a lyrics book, and a poster.

It said, “Hello this is YG Entertainment.

“This is the 1st Full Album release announcement for BLACKPINK THE ALBUM which will be released on October 2, 2020

“BLACKPINK THE ALBUM is the first full album since their debut in 2016 and it consists of CD, photo books, photo cards, and so on.”

The album will come in three versions: A standard CD + digital album, a standard LP + digital album, and a deluxe package.

The price ranges from $19.98 to $39.98, excluding the deluxe package that is said to be “coming soon.”

“More information to be announced soon.

“We ask for your interest and support. Thank you,” it added.

That's not all.

In celebration of the announcement, the K-pop royalties will also unveil a second single from their album next month and will feature “a special guest.”

The song will follow the smash single “How You Like That.” which dominated records and charts upon its release.
