By Marah Ruiz

Canadian-American singer Alanis Morissette has moved her scheduled Manila concert to next year, 2021.

The two-night concert was originally scheduled for April 6 and 7 but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a Facebook post, concert promoter Ovation Productions has announced that Alanis' Manila concert will be held on December 7 and 8 next year.

Tickets which have been purchased before the announcement will also be honored in the rescheduled concert next year.

The Manila concert is part of Alanis' world tour celebrating 25 years of her very successful third studio album 'Jagged Little Pill.'

The rescheduled concert will held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and will have Pinoy band Up Dharma Down as a special guest.

Aside from Alanis concert, many other events which were scheduled to be held in the country this year have been cancelled or postponed such as the Green Day concert, Running Man fan meeting and Wanderland Music and Arts festival.
