XOXO's Dani is proud to represent a different body type as a woman in showbiz
After joining the first season of The Clash in 2018, Dani Ozaraga was launched as part of the Kapuso girl group XOXO in August of 2019 together with her co-contestants, Riel Lomadilla, Lyra Micolob, and Mel Caluag.
In Dani's exclusive interview with GMA Music, the up-and-coming Kapuso diva shared how proud she is to be in a group whose members each represent a different body type.
According to her, "Kung mapapansin n'yo, kaming apat, we represent different kinds of body types. Mayroong petite, mayroong sporty, may curvy, and mayroong chubby, like me.
"But it doesn't matter because we wanna inspire people and we wanna show to everyone that no matter what body type they have, skin color, or physical appearance, we want each and everyone to be confident in the body that they're in. And that's what makes you sexy."
Dani added that though they may not be the "picture perfect" girl group, they want to make their own mark in the music industry by letting their talents speak for themselves.
"I really want XOXO to make a statement here in the industry.
"Kahit hindi kami 'yung typical girl group na perfect lahat, we want to show everyone na kahit mayroon kaming mga imperfections, mga differences, we want to show everyone that it's the talent that really matters," she said.
