German Moreno's legacy continues in new Supershow app

“Why is it so complicated and hard to a talent?”

This was a “light bulb moment” for Federico Moreno, who recently introduced a mobile app called Supershow.

According to Federico, son of the late iconic star-builder German “Kuya Germs” Moreno, the Supershow app was conceptualized in 2018, when he was asked by a friend to find a wedding singer.

Federico told them that he would get back to them and make some calls.

To his surprise and being in the entertainment industry, he was not able to find one based from the availability, date, and budget that they wanted.

Because of this, Federico started doing research by asking different sectors in society--including parents needing clowns or magicians for their children's party, casting agents in need of television commercial models, wedding planners looking for hosts and singers, bar owners in need of bands and lounge singers, and other event organizers in need of talents and performers.

Later on, he found out that everyone had the same problem.

This prompted him to create a mobile application that would be convenient, reliable, seamless, and easy to find and discover talents.

“This app is one way of continuing my father's legacy in helping the industry by helping talents get bookings and discovering new ones,” Federico said.

Carrying this dream, he instantly built a team with his very own mentor, Mr. Jose “Jomag” Magsaysay Jr., chairman emeritus of Potato Corner.

Their team hopes inspire these people to become relevant with whatever talents they have.

“Through the Supershow App, we cannot wait to connect gifted individuals for the right job ot event at the right time and make everyone happy.” Magsaysay said.

Federico also spoke to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, who is like a brother to him and one of Kuya Germs' proteges, and asked if he could be a part of the project. The actor-politician wholeheartedly agreed to the collaboration.

For Mayor Isko, this is his way of honoring the late Kuya Germs and supporting undiscovered talents.

And with the pandemic hitting the entertainment industry very hard, it has become a part of the Supershow's mission to rebuild and set new standards.

Federico and his partners have made it a priority to help displaced talents who are experiencing difficulties getting projects and, at the same time, guide them while adapting to the new normal.

Meanwhile, in celebration of Kuya Germs' birthday on October 4, the Supershow app is now pooling for talents who can be a part of the team!

Talents can now submit their 30 seconds to one-minute video material by visiting www.supershow.app

Interested parties can start booking talents for events on November 25, 2020.
