GOT7's Jinyoung dominates Twitter as he does his first IG Live

By Cara Emmeline Garcia

It is safe to say that Ahgases were floored to see their notifications on Wednesday evening as GOT7 member Jinyoung did his very first Instagram Live on the social media platform.

Jinyoung, who is the least active member on social media, gave fans a life update as he hangs out with his friend, songwriter Distract.

According to the GOT7 vocalist, he was prompted to do the IG Live after seeing fans share posters saying their “idol is missing.”

“Many fans upload strange pictures [on social media],” he quips to Distract in full English.

“The text says, 'Where's my idol, Jinyoung. Please find him.' So, I'm here!”

The 26-year-old singer also shared what he's been up to in the past few months, including learning how to swim and improving his proficiency in the English language.

“Recently, I started drinking coffee again. Maybe, like, three months? I stopped drinking coffee, but it came back because I want to have one,” he said.

“[I prefer] not drinking coffee regularly for my health and my condition. But, coffee tastes good.”

Jinyoung added, “All I've been doing is eat, go to the gym, go to the swimming pool. I am learning how to swim. Wow, it's so hard. Maybe three months or four months ago, I started learning how to swim.

“Sometimes, I also learn English with an English teacher.”

While the IG live is no longer available in Jinyoung's account, Ahgases took the liberty to record the momentous occasion and share it with fellow fans all over the world.

Other GOT7 members have also been going live on their respective social media accounts to reach out to fans.

Early October, leader JB announced his first art exhibition while rapper Mark Tuan unveiled a short snippet of a song he's worked on during his break in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, GOT7's Bambam took his fan service to the next level by playing the viral game “Among Us” with fans.
