SHINee's Taemin surpasses himself once again by releasing a captivating track from his third album 'Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 2.'
Just two months after his successful “Criminal” music video, SHINee's Taemin is at it again with the release of “IDEA,” the title track from his third full-length album, “Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 2.”
Released on Monday, November 9, “IDEA” draws from the idea of escaping one's past to find one's true self, which stems from Plato's doctrine of ideas back in 1509.
According to the Platonic theory, one must be able to strip away false ideas to reveal the truth through knowledge and not through experience, hence the title “IDEA.”

As of this writing, “IDEA” has already surpassed more than 5 million views since its upload, with fans raving about how the K-pop idol has outdone himself once again with the track.
