Janine won the Best Actress award for the 2019 psycho-thriller, Babae at Baril.

In a short post on Instagram, Rayver wrote that he's “super proud” of Janine for the achievement and that there's “more to come” for the Kapuso actress.

Rayver's post was accompanied by a picture of Janine from the movie with her hand mimicking a handgun.

It was in 2017 when it was rumored that Janine and Rayver were in a relationship.

Rayver admitted that same year in an interview that he was indeed courting the young actress.

“Hindi pa. Ligaw-ligaw pa lang, labas-labas,” he said during the time.

Despite being together for a few years now, Rayver has openly said that he is in no rush to settle down.

Rayver said he wants to make sure that he is emotionally and financially ready before taking the plunge.

The actor cited his brother Rodjun and longtime girlfriend and now wife, Dianne Medina, as someone he would like to emulate.

“I was in awe of how they planned their future,” Rayver told reporters in January of this year.

“They had a long engagement because they wanted to make sure that everything was in place. They waited until they had built a home and all.”

He added, “Marami na ngang humihirit. But I'm not in that position at the moment. Malayo pa 'ko!”
