Jon Lucas commends Cherie Gil in upcoming 'Tadhana' anniversary episode

Descendants of the Sun PH actor Jon Lucas is all praises for acclaimed actress Cherie Gil after working with her in Tadhana's anniversary special.

Jon posted a behind-the-scenes photo of him with Cherie interacting with the show's crew in an outdoor location.

The actor described an intense acting scene taped after taking the candid photo. "My favorite scene! Muntik na ako mapagalitan, pero feeling ko pinipigilan niya lang para mailabas ko pa yung pwede kong ilabas sa eksena.

Jon expressed his gratefulness in getting to work with Cherie, "Isang malaking karangalan ang makatrabaho ang isang Cherie Gil! Walang arte! Ibang iba sa napapanood natin sa mga serye at pelikula."

He added that he realized Cherie is not only an outstanding actress but also a kindhearted person. "Pero syempre pag eksena na, ibang usapan na yon. Doon mo na makikita kung bakit hanggang ngayon nasa industriya siya. Napakagaling na artista. NAPAKABAIT! Kaya naman salamat po sa pagkakataon Tadhana GMA!

In this special anniversary episode of Tadhana, Jon will play the character of Ramil, a fisherman who nearly drowns but gets washed ashore. He meets Cordelia (Cherie Gil) who has been left a widow after her three former husbands all passed away.

The first part of Tadhana anniversary special features Edgar Allan Guzman, Paolo Contis, and Kim Molina caught in a love triangle.
