BLACKPINK announces global livestream concert 'The Show'

K-pop girl group BLACKPINK has released a teaser for their upcoming livestream concert happening this month on YouTube.

The global virtual experience called The Show is BLACKPINK's first-ever livestream concert and will take place on December 27, 12 a.m. EST.

The girls will be performing songs from their albums as a thank you to their dedicated fans called BLINKS.

“We wanted to end the year with something very special for our BLINKS who have been waiting so patiently for us,” BLACKPINK said in a press statement shared by Billboard.

“We hope everyone can comfortably enjoy our first-ever livestream concert The Show at home and hopefully join in on some special perks we've prepared for those who join our channel.

"Overall we're super excited to share this fun moment with our BLINKS and we can't wait till The Show.”

BLACKPINK dropped their studio album THE ALBUM on October 2, 2020 with the opening track "How You Like That."

The group also showed a more personal side of themselves in a Netflix documentary called BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky which featured their journey from YG trainees to becoming one of the top girl groups of their era.
