The COVID-19 pandemic may have affected the career of Asia's Multimedia star Alden Richards in the first-half of 2020, the prized Kapuso talent is ending the year with milestone after milestone.

Last year, he made a splash by winning the Asian Star Prize in the Seoul International Drama Awards. And fast-forward to today, Alden celebrates another achievement by marking his 10th anniversary in show business.

Adding another feather to his cap, Alden graces the cover of leading digital fashion magazine Stail Philippines from December 2020 to January 2021.

On Instagram, Stail acknowledged the big transformation of the primetime star from being an aspiring artist to a phenomenal celebrity.

“Alden Richards entered the industry at exactly the right time. His windy but iconic evolution from an aspiring artist to a phenomenal success proved that there just wasn't anyone else like him.

“Undoubtedly, being Asia's Multimedia Star never is quite as simple as it seems. A decade's worth of work is worth the dimpled smile that caught the hearts of many.”

December to remember

So far, this month has been a busy one for Alden Richards.

Last December 8, his sold-out virtual reality concert titled 'Alden's Reality' was a huge success and it even dominated Twitter Philippines trends that day.

What's more, he also released a new single "Goin' Crazy" under GMA Music, during his concert.

Back in 2016, Alden broke records with his Wish I May album and during his guesting on Sunday PinaSaya he received his 8x Platinum Award plaque.

Finally, Alden together with his AlDub co-star Maine Mendoza, were recently tapped by delivery app Toktok.ph to become its endorsers.

Alden and Maine are regarded as two of the most-sought after TV personalities and endorsers in the country. They both rose to stardom via the hit Kalyeserye segment of Eat Bulaga in 2015.

During a short interview organized by the delivery app with the members of the entertainment press via video conference, Maine said that she is excited about this new project with Alden.

“We are glad po na reunited po kami ni Alden for an endorsement [after] a very long-time and siyempre grateful po kami sa Toktok for considering us, actually for taking us to be their endorsers.”

Alden seconded his fellow Dabarkad's sentiments, “Happy kami na magkasama po kami uli and it's been two years since the last [endorsement].”

Aside from the Stail Philippines cover, Alden was also front and center on the cover of Rank Magazine as well.

Alden Richards can be regularly seen in the hit noontime show Eat Bulaga and is part of the Sunday musical-variety show All-Out Sundays.
