Director Jules Katanyag considers Carmina Villarroel one of the 'best' in show business

Carmina Villarroel has earned a reputation in show business as one of the most versatile actors, who gives her 101% in every role that she would take on.

The former Kambal Karibal star is not just a bankable TV personality and endorser, but she has also successfully ventured into the world of vlogging as well.

It's not surprising that her director in the soap Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat Jules Katanyag has only kind words to say about her. He even said that she is one of the “best.”

Direk Jules lauded Carmina's professionalism during their taping. In the upcoming drama series, Carmina will play the role of Dulce.

He began his post saying, “People often ask me who are the worst actors I've worked with, but now I have an answer to who is one of the best. A great pleasure of this shoot is having to work with Ms. Mina (Carmina Villarroel).

“She defines what a professional actress is (or should be). She comes to the set prepared, with a deep understanding of the scene and several acting choices in her pocket.

“She understands acting space and knows how to maximize it, she knows how to favor properly during odd cross- 2 cam setups for TV. She's also generous with her co-actors even when the camera is not on her,” Katanyag added.

He went on to say that the Kapuso versatile actress has an amazing talent to convey “true emotions" in every scene they shoot.

“And most specially, she has that delicious capacity to access true emotions, and perform it with such control and clarity, despite the hysterics required in a melodramatic teleserye.”

Jules Katanyag also praised Mina for being one of the kindest people he has ever worked with.

“And when the material allows for nuances and subtlety, she can also execute effortlessly. Such range. A minor problem is that when we're shooting outdoors and the light varies, the cameras need to adjust a few stops because her porcelain white skin reflects sunlight. Other than that she is also the kindest.”

Aside from Carmina, she will be joined by other incredible talents on Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat including Tanya Garcia-Lapid, Neil Ryan Sese, Kristoffer Martin, Dave Bornea, John Estrada, and Pauline Mendoza, who will be doing her very first-lead role in a soap.

Also included in the stellar cast of Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat are Therese Malvar, Tanya Gomez, Gio Alvarez, Liezel Lopez, and Manolo Pedrosa.

The cast who were all in Batangas for their lock-in taping have been sharing on their respective social media accounts what happened behind the scenes--something viewers should not miss!

GMA Artist Center beauty Pauline Mendoza mentioned in her 24 Oras interview that she is lucky to receive a lot of help from her veteran co-stars.

"Lahat ng eksena ko halos everyday na umiiyak.

"Challenging talaga kasi very heavy 'yung mga scenes namin. Pero siyempre with the help of veteran actors,t thankful talaga ako kasi gina-guide nila ako,"
