BLACKPINK's Rosé confirmed to make a solo debut!

BLINKS, get ready because BLACKPINK's Rosé is set to make her solo debut this month!

On Monday, January 25, Rosé's label, YG Entertainment, confirmed that the K-pop superstar would be performing her solo track for the first time at BLACKPINK's upcomining online concert titled “THE SHOW.”

It said in a statement, “Rosé has completed filming the music video of her solo album's title track mid-January. As the production budget for her video was unprecedented, we are currently doing our utmost best in the final stages of its production to ensure a high-quality release.”

As for the release of Rosé's single and its accompanying music video, YG Entertainment declared that it is still yet to be confirmed with the star, but fans are assured that she is set to perform it at the group's online concert.

“Rosé has personally requested the chance to perform her song to her fans ahead of the album's release, and after much deliberation, the agency agreed.”

The upcoming title track is said to be “mellifluous” while capturing the strength of Rosé's vocals and “is a song that is completely different from BLACKPINK's music to date.”

Aside from Rosé, BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa are well preparing for their much-awaited live concert that is happening this January 31.

The show, which is originally slated to be on December 27, has had the members working hard for the past two months to put out a high-quality show for all their fans worldwide.

“The BLACKPINK members have poured their sweat into putting on a high-quality show together with a live band. We hope that the concert will be a wonderful gift for fans,” YG Entertainment commented.

BLACKPINK: THE SHOW will be streamed live on January 31 at 1 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time) via YouTube Music. Ticket prices sell at PhP 1,798 for two months of access to the content on the platform.
