Derek Ramsay confirms relationship with Ellen Adarna -- report

After teasing the public since the start of this year with their budding romance, Kapuso star Derek Ramsay, 44, and sexy actress Ellen Adarna, 32, have finally confirmed that they are indeed a couple.

Rumors began circulating that the two are dating after they have been spotted together on numerous occasions with their common friends.

But now, the couple confirmed it via their exclusive interview with entertainment portal, PEP.ph

Arniel Serato broke the news yesterday, February 26, when he interviewed the two in Derek's home in Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa.

Derek told Arniel that there was “spark” the moment they first met.

“Uhm, tama ka, may spark talaga. Sobrang laking spark.

“We just really are enjoying each other's company. Sobra.”

The bankable TV and movie actor added that even though their relationship is new, there's not a dull moment when he's with Ellen.

“Like, walang dull moment.

“Sa isang month, meron na kaming tawanan. Meron na kaming tampuhan... lahat meron na.”

Past love life

Back in November 2020, Derek and Kapuso actress Andrea Torres announced that they have decided to part ways. They met on the set of GMA-7's primetime drama series, The Better Woman.

Andrea released a statement then and said, “Yes, Derek and I are no longer together. I'd rather keep the details private as I want to give the breakup the same amount of respect that I had for the relationship.

“I think you all know how much it meant to me. I hope you understand. I will always wish him and his family well.”

Derek has a son with former wife, Mary Christine Jolly, named Austin.

Just like his new girlfriend, Ellen Adarna, also has a son, named Elias, with ex-flame John Lloyd Cruz.
