SCHEDULE: GMA-7's Black Saturday Programming (April 3, 2021)

As the Catholic Church and the Philippines observe Lent, GMA-7 has prepared an inspiring and heart-warming program line-up this coming Maundy Thursday (April 1), Good Friday (April 2), and Black Saturday (April 3).

Black Saturday opens with Jesus: His Life, a docu-drama series about the life of Jesus through the eyes of people closest to him at 6:00 am.

Kids will surely love the back-to-back animated features starting with Bartok, an albino bat who is tasked to save a young czar, at 7:30 am. This is followed by jukebox musical comedy film Trolls, at 8:30 am and Barbie in a Mermaid Tale at 10:00 am.

Go on an adventure across Western Australia with Red Dog at 11:00 am. The film is based on the true story of Red Dog, a beloved kelpie and cattle dog mix who was known to travel on his own around the Pilbara region.

Catch the unforgettable movie about memories, Cara x Jagger starring Ruru Madrid and Jasmine Curtis Smith at 12:00 pm. This comes back-to-back with another romance film, Because I Love You, starring Shaira Diaz and David Licauco at 1:30 pm.

Marvel at another re-imagining of the epic historical drama film Ben-Hur, starring Jack Huston, Toby Kebbel and Morgan Freeman at 3:00 pm.

Don't miss eye-opening and award-winning documentaries with i-Witness, 05:30 pm.

GMA Network continues to bring "serbisyong totoo" with flagship news program 24 Oras, 06:30 pm.

Binge-watch episodes of GMA Telebabad's newest offering, First Yaya at 7:15 pm. The series stars Sanya Lopez as Yaya Melody, a kind-hearted and hard-working woman tasked to take care of the children of President Glen Acosta, played by Gabby Concepcion.

Take a look inside the colorful festivals and processions that Filipinos are known for in the Jesuit Communications Foundation and Manila Cathedral documentary Fiesta: Ang Makulay na Pananampalatayang Pilipino, 10:30 pm.
